For more than a half century, CVR has provided what people with disabilities need most for their own self- respect and the esteem of others: WORK.  CVR facilitates personal growth and helps bring dignity and respect to the people it serves through a variety of vocational and partial care rehabilitation programs.

From its modest beginnings in 1954 in the garage of a Long Branch, New Jersey orthopedic surgeon, to its subsequent incorporation in 1957, CVR has continuously fulfilled its mission of guiding people to fuller lives by helping them find and hold jobs.

CVR's well established programs focus on our mission to promote social independence, quality of life and maximum vocational potential for all persons with special needs. CVR's Behavioral Health, Partial Care, Supported Employment, and Production Center programs work together to ensure the population we serve proper guidance, direction and success. Our organization collaborates with many area support agencies which is the key to success for our people with special needs.
