CVR is committed to providing significant learning experiences for undergraduate and graduate student interns from various disciplines including social work, mental health counseling, psychology, as well as other human service professions. Internships are available in programs such as partial care and extended employment or supported employment. The agency reserves the right to assign intern students to a program that best meets their education and experience level.
To start this process, interns are required to complete an application, submit a resume, and set an interview with their potential supervisor. If both come to an agreement that this placement is a match, the student will be required to complete the same screening process as an employee, which includes a mandatory background check.
